Central United Church is a "Blue Umbrella " church approved and trained by the Alzheimers Society to provide a friendly, safe and understanding community for those with dementias.


Many Seniors often find it difficult to access information to assist them when the need for more care for themselves, a spouse, family member or friend arises. Our Senior Care Needs Package can be helpful in locating the resources you need. Simply download the pdf file below.

Kid's Zone
Sunday School

All children 3-14 are welcome to participate. All teachers and volunteers are required to have a police check.


Children under 3 yrs are welcome to join our volunteers, in the Nursery.


Currently the Kid's Zone in the Fellowship Hall & the Nursery are closed due to Covid-19


Tweens & Teens have their own Sunday School room and assist with projects and missions chosen by the Sunday school. Activities, movies, and outside trips are jointly planned and enjoyed with First United's Youth group.



The Senior and Junior Choirs under the musical direction of Lauri Ladd strive to embrace an upbeat and eclectic mix of music along with the well loved traditional. All our musical groups love to "Make a Joyful Noise unto the Lord!"  If you love music and enjoy singing with a friendly   of music lovers contact the music director  or call 519-631-3503.


Community Outreach
Central provides space to many community groups such as, AA Groups, AlAnon, New Beginnings, VON Smart exercise etc. For many years, our church also provided shelter for Inn out of the Cold program.
